Wawa celebrates 62 years with free coffee giveaway

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Wawa is offering free coffee on Thursday, April 16 to celebrate the 62nd anniversary of its first retail store.

Wawa rewards members can pour any size hot coffee to commemorate the milestone.

The first store opened in Folsom, Delaware County and since then, Wawa has grown to 1,200 locations.

Wawa is also distributing $250,000 in gift cards to its national charity partners to mark the occasion.
